I'd like to BELATEDLY thank (for the August meeting)...

Therese Nolan for moderating the August meeting. Rick Hole, Jay Eichenlaub, Dr. Alan Wood's and Ellie Anderson for sharing their work with us. I'd also like to thank the actors:

Jay Eichenlaub, Scott Tobin, Sarah Gehring, Rich Stadler, Amy Talbott, Therese Nolan, Diana Daily, Ginny Cipolla , Ellie Anderson and Jon Caleb. And, also thank you to ever brought the food.

From my understanding, this was the largest attended meeting we have ever had (between 40 and 50 people.)

Falsettos Returns Sept. 15 @ Available Light Theater

John Dranschak who helped start the Drama Foundry, has served as the organization's casting director, and who is an award-winning local director (Merrily We Roll Along) has a new production coming to fruition this week. He is directing, along with help of Available Light Theatre, William Finn's musical Falsettos.

Here are the rest of the video previews of the show. Below is the official press release.

"Falsettos" returns to Columbus Sept. 15

Fans of last year's Merrily We Roll Along won't want to miss William Finn's heartfelt musical about "the families we make."

This landmark musical tells the story of Marvin, who’s left his wife and 12-year old son to live with his lover, Whizzer, next door to a couple of “spiky lesbians.” It’s a love story and a family story, beginning at the tail end of the sexual revolution and arriving at the dawn of “something so bad words have lost their meaning.”

Through his achingly articulate, Tony Award-winning songs, one enigmatic man shares his personal vision of three exhilarating and heartbreaking years in the gay life of America.

WHEN: September 15 - October 1
